Favorite 1980's cop and/or detective shows?

The 80's decade were famous for the cop and detective shows. From shows like Knight Rider to the A-Team to ChiPs to Jumpstret 21, they had it all.

So which are your favorite from the decade?
PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

I don't remember much. The only 80's shows I remember liking were Night Court and Alf. Totally unrelated, yes. smile Except for Night Court--at least it was the judicial portion of the law system as opposed to a puppet alien. So, I suppose, this post is slightly relevant. Slightly.

oh, i watched moonlighting too...but that show shouldn't count as a cop/detective show because it was actually kinda quirky and clever as a comedic soap opera. shrug

I was never allowed to watch Moonlighting. Was there anything going on in the show unfit for a small child? lol Christ, my father was insane.

weird. sometimes they would flash images of penises on the screen like in the exorcist but other than that, no.
