Sure, he looks a bit weird but other than that....I mean, he could be totally fucked up by now, twenty years is a long time. His muscle tone and definition is even better than two decades ago. Who is he?

Who is he? He played "Bruce Leroy" in the 80´s cult classic "The Last Dragon", a very corny 80´s music and dance film in which he starred with Vanity ( shortly after she had left Prince´s camp) . The film is a bit cheesy judging by todays standards but it was some sort of RnB/HipHop underground classic in the mid 80´s . The soundtrack included DeBarge´s "Rhythm Of The Night". Now don´t ask me who DeBarge are or were. Many films like that came out in the 80s, for instance Breakin and Electric Boogaloo, Beatstreet, Wildstyle( though that´s a different category), The Last Dragon, KrushGroove( with Sheila E. and RunDMC and LLCoolJ etc.), Rappin (with Mario Van Peebles and Ice-T) ....and so on. Just google "The Last Dragon" and Vanity.

Just google "The Last Dragon" and Vanity. I would NEVER have thought to put The Last Dragon in the same "catagory" as Backstreet, Breakin , Krush Groove ETC... It was definately a martial arts (bruce lee in particular) homage piece and was lovably corny. But there wasn't anything that I would consider hip hop about it. There is some hip hop in it (brought in by the little brother character) but the main musical style of the film seemed to be pop. But even that isn't the focus of the film so i wouldn't call it a dance/music film. It was just a vehicle for the talents of Taimak and Vanity...martial arts and some music. I AM BEATLOAF

Oh, sure, you´re right about that....it´s not really a HipHop movie per se but it was hugely popular in the HipHop community, at least as far as I recall my teenage years, and it was somehow one of those kinda movies...but it´s a bit difficult to explain right now, it´s past 1 a.m over here and I´m off to bed. Maybe you catch my drift Good nite ! PS: That dude who was Bruce Leroy´s opponent reminded me of Grandmaster Melle Mel .

is it me or does he have gay face? it is necessary to help others, not only in our prayers, but in our daily lives. If we find we cannot help others, the least we can do is to desist from harming them.

I've just never heard anybody refer to it in that term. I don't remember it being particularly popular in the hip-hop world but I do remember a lot of Black folks liking it. Either way,I understand! And yeah that dude did have a Grandmaster Flash/Furious 5 kind of vibe. I AM BEATLOAF
