I work from home. I take care of two very young children and they sleep a lot. When they sleep I do some cleaning and then I org. Also, I don't watch much tv, so I am usually online when I am home shrug

I worked from home for years,so it was easy to always come to the org. But now I am not doing much graphic design anymore, and my 3 kids are pretty much grown, (21,20,14) so I tend to get a bit bored, and all you lovely folks entertain me. giggle

After writing that...I realized..holy cow I need a life! eek

Ottensen

I'm a freelancer, so I can org from my home office. When I'm on assignmnet, I still have time to be entertained by you all because I have two assisants. So when its not essential for my eyes to be on whats in front of me I'm sitting down, legs crossed looking all concentrated and serious while actually trying not to guffaw out loud at the stuff I'm reading here. It gets kinda hard sometimes, and I have slipped up before. But these are the jobs where I'm usually sort of the boss, so I can get away with it lol . When you see me disappear for long stretches though, that usually means I'm on a busines trip or location somewhere, working 12 hour days, and time for nothing else but client dinner, 3 cocktails, and then SLEEP. lol

But I love this site. With me being an expatriate having very little access to English speaking actvities, I can come here and get religion topics, pop culture, politics, and silly water cooler shenanigans all in one place. Its like my own little English language community to hang out with virtually cool

Between work, family and a craving for peace, quiet and solitude when I'm not working or with family, I have no room to build a real social life, frankly... and so the Org has sort of become my neighborhood pub.[Edited 7/22/07 21:27pm]

nod That's how I feel about it too. Summer is org season as far as my life goes. During the school year I'm rarely around.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.
