I see by your opinion, success is raising happy smart and healthy kids, but if you don't or by nature cannot raise kids, are you saying your life was NOT successful? confused I think there is more to success than that.

But she also said "to me", which implies it is her own standard for success for herself. I don't think she's saying that's her standard for anyone else.

I did say, I see by your opinion. So yes, I do gather what she said. I was just wanting to broaden the horizon. smile

To me it's success. I had my first baby when I was 15! So if I raise some good kids, then you can bet your ass it's a big deal to me! Success is different for everyone! This is mine!

Success isn't something outside of myself that I can't control, it's personal integrity, faith and respect for myself.
I can't say constant happiness is a factor, as all the human emotions: sadness, fear, disgust, love, anger,etc....are a part of human behavior and need to exist, if only for balance. smile

Don't get too winded, but what's happiness??? In one paragraph, or less....limited to 5 brief sentences that are direct and to the point. No dissertations. Skip the sex part. Well, that just leaves one sentence.

Success for me would be to rid myself of family and people who truly aren't friends of mine. I want coming home to be peaceful.

It would also be graduating college in 2009, whether a degree leads to a more lucrative job or not.
