I miss it though.  I got rid of mine last year as well. I miss it terribly too. I thought just having a landline would be cheaper. It's not.

My brother-in-law's gf stole mine, though I could never completely prove it. She stole Mon's too, and her sister's, twice!
It was this little Panasonic one, about half the size of a cigarette packet. It didn't do much but it looked nice.
I don't have any friends so I don't really need a mobile. If anyone wants to call me I'll usually be at home so they just use the landline. I don't like spending money on telephones, be they mobiles or home phones. Mon has a habit of losing phones so I buy her crap second hand Nokias and she puts a little credit in every week. | |
