He fuckin' killed Chrissy!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!






Okay, it's okay for Phil to kill Tony now. He was cold as ice tonight. Not only did he kill Chrissy, but he talked shit about him at his own wake!!! Then had to nerve to say that he felt "relieved" afterwards. Tony was just fuckin' threatened because out of anybody in his whole crew, Chrissy knew a lot of shit. Stuff even Sil didn't even know, Chrissy knew...so while I can see why Tony killed him, I just didn't like it.

But....

on the flip side, it was better Tony knocking him off, blaming it on the car accident rather than Phil Leotardo getting his hands on Chrissy as a way to get to Tony.

Predictions for the last 3 episodes:

I don't know why, but i get the sense that Pauly is going to be next to go.

That was one strange trip...er, episode...

It was great to see my dream girlfriend - Tony's peyote partner. All I have to say about her is

I cried when that happened, I mean I saw it coming but I didn't think that Tony would be the one to do it. Poor Chistopher I knew he was dead the moment he pulled the trigger on his friend last week, I knew that was the end for him. He had no one else. He didn't stand a chance.

Tony despises his own weakness (he sees his mental illness as a weakness) and it was maginified in Christopher, a daily reminder of fallibility. When Chris talked about how is dad was an addict, Tony didn't want to hear that. Not about his hero.
Also the thing with the baby seat that he kept bringing up, he talked about his not being able to protect/save/comfort AJ last week and with Chris being high in the car with the baby seat, it touched a nerve with him because he saw that the baby was even more vulnerable since Chris was using again.


Tony has killed the two men closest to him, his cousin and now Christopher.

Predictions:

AJ something is coming.....something big and really bad that will send Carmela off the edge.

Who else thought that Tony was going to admit that Ade was dead? I thought for sure he would tell carm.

What about the dream where he told melphi everything.

Having Phil kill Tony is too obvious. I am wondering who is next? I think Paulie is going to rat out.

WHAT is the revelation TONY found about life???

Its there but I cant figure it out.

This whole show is about fucken hypocrits.

Tony looks down on Chris for being a weak druggie, then right after he's dead, he goes to Vegas and smokes weed and pops that pill( what was that drug?).

And with the usual Sopranos twist, the whole accident is brought about by two pre-teens joyriding while driving illegally at night on a learner's permit.

The twist wasn't as jarring as some of the past high profile deaths because I think we all expected one or two characters to go before it is all said and done and Chrissy was a prime candidate. Something is going on with AJ but it seems to easy, as does Pauly going down. Look for one more shocking twist that will fly right over our radar.

the pill ( button) was peyote it's a hallucenagen that is used in some native american rituals/ceremonies. I don't know too much on the whole cultural aspect of it, but it's like mushrooms or LSD.

yeah i know Chrissy was an A-rate asshole when he wanted to be, but damnit, there was just something about him that kept me from hating him.

What drew me to Christopher was that he was a kid that grew up in all that and really he didn't stand a chance. It was all too much for him. He really didn't fit in, and he used the booze and drugs to dull the pain.

Carmela has worked so hard at protecting AJ from that and Tony saw that AJ could be just like Chrostopher.

I thought it was hard to watch.....just how Tony looked at Christopher before the crash, realizing Chris was high again, the defeat and disappointment that turned into anger.And then the cold-bloodednes of Tony, looking at Christopher with his dead eyes while he is suffocating him.....not only Christopher died at that moment, or maybe Tony has been dead for a long time already!

Great episode.....I am so going to miss this show!

Imperioli has done 2 other movies where he plays a drug addict. In "Sweet Nothing" he's excellent as a crack head.
