We're pregnant

my other half is late, so I suggested a home pregnancy test. She came off the pill earlier this year but we have been playing it cool - if something happens

Last night she tried it - two positives.

She'll see the doctor on Monday. There's so much to think about - where do I begin?

So much practical advice, Thanks guys!

Is anyone ever ready for this? I think I'm as ready as I'll ever be.

So what is the protocol around these things....how long before we tell relatives and friends?

Should I put her on an organic only diet straight away?

Hey - if it is twins I'm in deeeeep trouble. We'll need a bigger house!

can you explain why?

I have a child already and another just about to drop and I would like to know your reasons to why you would say this?

congrats... she sounds like my wife she took like 20 tests... all + i told her those tests do not lie...thank god they were dollar store ones.

and she posted the sticks on her blog!

but do not joke about twins! i did and that is what we got (the little one is sleeping in my lap right now...which is good cuz it gives me an excuse to stay on line)

well start looking for deals on things... she got a huge box of clothes for $8.01 shipped! on ebay,,, and we found lots of stuff on craigs list for cheep too!

clapping Congrats on the upcoming bundle(s) of joy....clapping

My wife and I are on the other other end of kids....our two are almost out of the nest....honestly, you're never truly prepared, mentally or otherwise, until the child(ren) come into the world....and even with the advice of everyone under the sun, you will find your own niche...I know leading up to the birth of ours, we didn't have a clue....and were scared to death...but I wouldn't trade a single moment, good or bad...and I know that my life is so much better with them in it than without them....

Y'all take care.....good luck....wave

We've just been trying to find info on food to avoid whilst pregnant. I can't really find a definitive list. Does anyone know where to look?

Am I taking this too seriously?
