and then there were 6... PROJECT RUNWAY thursday water cooler chat

okay, first, as much as i loathe jeffrey, his outfit was not something i would ever wear, but it was cool. i still really hate him, but mild props for winning, you arrogant pompous asshole. i dont think i will ever forgive him for being such a dick to angela's mom.

i still dislike vincent, i still cant believe he is still on, although his outfit, while bland as hell, was nice. at some point during the last two challenges the voices in head (tell me he's not crazy) decided on something decent instead of his early shit.

i still love laura, and last night's episode was no exception. gorgeous, lovely dress. loved her hair like that too. looked so pretty and elegant coming down the runway! and big props for moving away from her normal style and breaking her mold!

and speaking of breaking/not breaking the mold, while i love uli's print stuff, it has gotten tired, and the judges calling her on it was good. she needs to snap out of it and do something new or she is gonna get auf'd. i liked the dress, but it seems like everything else she has done so far.

i still love michael, and i really think his should have won over jeffrey's. i would wear michael's look, especially that AWESOME shirt he did. very very cool. although, it totally reminded me of a cosby show episode where theo wanted a desgner shirt, and the cos wouldnt give him the money for it, so vanessa sewed him up a knock off... had the same collar and shoulders as this. anyone else remember that episode?

what in the world has happned to kanye? he started off so much fun, and very talented, and at some point he became a real ass and has turned in shit the last three challenges (the recyclable challenge, the everyday woman challenge and now this). tim gunn was totally right when he said it looked very elvis. not even good elvis, either, like fat sweaty ugly jumpsuit elvis instead. what is he thinking?

and angela... poor stupid angela. i knew those god damned stupid rosettes would be the end of her. i never liked much of her work, excepting the INC outfit, in which credit really belongs to laura and michael, and the audrey hepburn icon challenge dress. her outfit was beyond hideous and totally was signal she had re-lost her mind and was back to creating shit like the "jubilee jumbles" crap she did in the dog challenge. oh well. FLORACHON killed the designer star.

interesting note- entertainment weekly did a really bad-ass article on PR and the incredible level of success it has achieved with tim and heidi on the cover. in it, they predict that uli, kanye, and laura will be the final 3. i disagree, though. i am still pretty certain it will be uli, michael, and laura. that is with the assumption uli can get out of her routine and do soemthing else, otherwise, i could see jeffrey being in that spot, as much as i would hate that.

your thoughts?

My three seconds to respond start now:

Michael--loved it, loved the pants, the walk, the attitude, the guy, love him.
He should win.

Laura--still wondering how she does what she does and will have 6 kids. Still wondering why she isn't puking everywhere, and if she does, I hope it will be on Jeffrey, who needs a good barfing. Once again her outfit was pretty impeccable, and looked good. I wish she would do something ULI-esque, and just get wild--

on that same note, ULI, do something in a solid..or something. ULI is good..but she is in her rut that in this competition she cannot be.

--pardon me, I just had pancake tossed at me--

vincent--I thought he shoulda been gone long ago--though his jammies he made were comfy looking.

okay, so ULI can make her signature stuff after this is done, but not during.

KAYNE! what the hell happened to you, man????? Someone give that man a size 6 dress pattern to play with so he can get his mojo back.

Angela.....oh angela.....

Jeffrey, ass.

the particulr challenge, the whole season, or both? michael is my boy. LOVE him!

TOTALLY agree.

falloff

vincent--I thought he shoulda been gone long ago--though his jammies he made were comfy looking.

i am amazed he is still there. reminds me a lot of the wendy pepper syndrome from first season. her stuff (excepting the holiday dress) was always CRAP, but there was always just an outfit that was slightly worse. i will hunt michael kors and nina garcia down and kill them if vincent makes it into the final 3 like wendy did

KAYNE! what the hell happened to you, man????? Someone give that man a size 6 dress pattern to play with so he can get his mojo back.

i liked him so much in the beginning. i have no idea what happened, btu he has become a bitch and a talentless one at that.

Angela.....oh angela.....

Love Michael, all the time, since the beginning. Kayne has become a moody bitch, fo' sho'.

Angela had inklings of talent..but her stuff would be popular in Vermont...they like quirky.

Please God, no Vincent in the final three.....pray

I loved Laura and Michael's outifts. I guess I liked Jeffrey's outfit too but I just can't get over his attitude. Vincent is just invisible to me. Uli has become a one-trick pony.

Angela..... confused

has been a great season, i agree. i was actually more entertained by last season, just cause santino's imitations of tim gunn were just fucking hilarious.

"designers, you let me violate you. you let me penetrate you. designers, i want to fuck you like an animal"

"where's andre?"

especially the bit he did about andre and tim being lovers and getting in a fight at red lobster.

god, those were hilarious.
