I seem to be pathologically drawn to girls with, shall we say, a little color. While this doesn't involve daydreams about Spanish villas or various costume changes and re-enactments of famous historical conquests(and definitely nothing involving Conquistadors), I am growing somewhat concerned. Not really so much of why I like the darker women(that should be obvious to all), but why I seem to think so little of the fairer beauties. Blonde girls don't really interest me, as they do--seemingly--the rest of the world. The girls that really drive me crazy are always dark. Why am I drawn to these sirens? Am I looking for my polar opposite? I am, after all, Conan O'Brien white.

I think everyone has their aesthetic preferences, the things that make them stand up and take notice. When considering looks only, I'm attracted to the dark hair, dark eyes type, but it doesn't mean I won't (or haven't) dated men who don't fit into that.
Kinda like how in general, I'm gonna pick chocolate every time, but sometimes I'll get strawberry or vanilla and love it just as much. lol.
As for is it a fetish? Well, if you absoutely can't date someone who doesn't fit your description, then I'd say yeah, it's a bona fide fetish.

It's just a preference. I tend to be more attracted to dark hair, dark eyes, olive or tanned skin, but I don't date that type exclusively.
