GREAT rides including several that are ranked in the top 10 roller coasters of the world, including the # 1 and 3, i know for sure (one of the friends who went is a hardcore ride freak, he told us history, ranking, stats and all for each ride as we were in line). From your place in NJ, it's about a 9 hour drive, pretty affordable, and well well worth it. Cool! I'm not a big roller coster fan though. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Niagara Falls is very nice in the summer... there's a lot to do, the American side has a lot of State parks and nature trails and the Canadian side is gorgeous. The touristy places can be expensive, but there's a lot of things to do that are cheap. You can get a day pass to the Cave of the Winds and Maid of the Mist boat, and tram rides for under $30. Buffalo is just 20 minutes up the road and Toronto is only one and a half hours away. Is Niagara Falls "kids-friendly"?
I've been wanting to go but am afraid of having 3 small bored children to contend with. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

Kids like all the sightseeing things. Lots of parks. Fort Niagara is a great historical place to visit with kids.
On the Canadian side there's a butterfly conservatory, Planet Hollywood, Clifton Hill with all the wax museums and Ripley's Believe it or Not. Marineland is there too. There's HardRock Cafes on both sides . Niagara on the Lake is beautiful. Canada's Wonderland is just north of Toronto and Six Flags Darien Lake is about an hour south of Niagara Falls. And that's just for starters. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss
