my sony NW A3000 mp3 player...

says it has battery life for up to 35 hours.....

mad

bought it in the UK-it barely lasted the flight from newcastle to london mad

i reckon at the most it has 5-6 hours battery life

what a massive bummer sad

MP3 players' batteries can actually be affected by the type of music file you're playing.

A variable-bit-rate file with joint-stereo, takes more processing power for the player to decode than a constant-bit-rate stereo file. VBR J-S MP3 files are smaller though.

yeah, it probably lasts 35 hours on stand by, not playing files
or nothing, lol.

but that's just wrong information. i hate that. they should put
the real playtime on there.
