Did You Ever Walk Out of a Fast-Food Restaurant Because the Wait Was Too Long?

Just did that tonight when I tried going to Subway. There was only one girl working behind the counter, and five people (including a family of four with two little kids) in front of me. I could tell it was going to be a long wait, because the people with the kids still did not know what they wanted to order. I was like, "Oh hell to the no, I'm not waiting around forever!" So I left and went to Panera's instead. The girl working behind the counter saw me walk out, but oh well. lol

I do, especially if it's an hour or more wait or how hungry I am. If I got lots of time I can wait for an hour.

An hour wait would be too long for me, although a half hour wait is not bad. smile

No, but we were in S&P the other day and we ordered our food and drink. My wife ordered a bottle of water and after my food and drink and then her food had arrived we still didn't have her water. She caught the attention of a "waiter" and reminded him, but still 10 minutes later it hadn't arrived. She reminded a "waitress" but still 5 minutes later it hadn't arrived. When it finally did come my wife said she didn't want it anymore. You can never usually get your food to arrive together either. For example, you order a club sandwich and fries and the fries will arrive long after you've got your sandwich and already eaten it. We once asked them to bring it all together and I saw the girl bring the sandwich out but leave it on the counter for 10 minutes until the fries were ready. disbelief

I'm still trying to figure out why they call it fast food.

If I owned a fast food joint it would pay to keep em hungry. The longer the wait and more ornery the customers get , the more food theyll likely order.

It works for me waiting in the White Castle drive thru.

Yes. But it wasn't the employees fault, it was the dipshit placing the order, asking 100 questions and special ordering every damn thing. If you're that particular about what you eat, stay home and cook it yourself.

Unless i'm in a hurry, I don't, especially if im craving that particular food. What shitz me are either customerz who take agez with their order, people who stand in the line looking at the bloody menu until you realise they aren't inline lol and people at some cafes who pay no attention to the fact that you are waiting to order and they're off doing some other shit and i'm starin at them like im hungry i'd like to please order and it takez them a good several minutez to drift along n tend to you! mad

I do it all the time at fast food places. If I'm going to wait, then I want someone to wait on me, real dishes and metal knives and forks. If I don't get that much, they better be FAST.
