8 years ago I was on a sales-meeting in Paris with my (then) boss, the meeting was attended by a lot of americans from several companies. At night we all had dinner and went out to catch a show in The Crazy Horse (google that, Spatsy, so you know what I'm talking about! What? you don't know what Google is?? ). Ofcourse, I happened to be right! So in the end a girl came along with me and spend the night with me, doing all sorts of stuff with me in bed. Her name was Estelle, she was a beautiful, 21 year old student. It was good, , and when I woke up she had left me a nice note on the table, I still have that.
So I got to sleep with a hooker without having to pay for it myself, but I know exactly what she has cost my boss.

4 years ago I was out with a good buddy here in Amsterdam (that's in the Netherlands, Spatsy!). We had dinner at a nice restaurant and went out afterwards. Very late at night we found ourselfs in the Red-Light District where the women are standing behind the windows as you walk by (you'd love it, Spatsy!!). We were a bit boozed up and in a good mood, laughing a lot. At one point we decided to just do it, and started talking with some of the women, negotiating. In the end each of us spent 50 euros (about $40) for 20 minutes of fun..... Not nearly as much fun or as good as that one time in Paris.

These are my two encounters with sex for money.....been there, done that! Not interested anymore since I've done it already. I don't need it. Yes, the more you pay, the more you'll get!
$15 for a sloppy ho in an alley? Not me, it's disrespectful to the girl and I would feel cheap as well!

However, from the video footage I've seen, cops doing prostitution stings are usually more subtle and let the customer name a price and/or the desired services. I suppose the reason is to weaken any possible entrapment defense.

However, you mentioned that you're "a bargain shopper," and from what I'm told, the Nevada brothels are quite expensive. OTOH, it's got to be cheaper than paying a lawyer to defend you on charges of soliciting prostitution.
