Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney Split
Renee Zellweger, most famous for her witty portrayal of Bridget Jones, and country music star Kenny Chesney will have their four-month-old marriage annulled. Kenny Chesney's publicist, Holly Gleason, and Zellweger's Los Angeles-based publicist Nanci Ryder, confirmed the news to The Associated Press. Renee Zellweger, 36, and Kenny Chesney, 37, met at a benefit for tsunami relief and dated for four months. A whirlwind romance resulted in a surprise wedding in May. The actress and a country singer wed in a small ceremony on the Caribbean island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Photos of the couple barefoot on the beach were widely distributed. It was the first marriage for both stars. Rene Zellweger won a best supporting actress Oscar for "Cold Mountain." She was nominated for Oscars for her work in "Chicago" and "Bridget Jones's Diary." I dated my hubby for 3 months and we are still married ( 12 years and counting) so you really never know.

Well, he's getting older, and still not married, people were inevitably gonna start speculating if he was gay. Plus he's a bit of a pretty boy.
It could just be wishful thinking, but it's also possible that the marriage just happened to maintain his image. | |
