Oprah! She's broadcasting live and helping the Hurricane victims. Go Oprah! Uh-oh. She's dressed like a sister-girl today, working that ponytail.
Anyway, Oprah loves helping people. I'm so glad she went down there. She is going to save lives and contribute a lot. I just hope she doesn't lavish them with unnecessary shit like she's sometimes wont to do. | |

Well, looks like she and celibrities basically used her Angel Network money to just give food.
And most of the portions were taped, not live as I anticipated. She reunited a family. It continues tomorrow. I was expecting her to rescue some people and give them houses, clothing, and such. But with all those folks, that would be cruel to help just a few in that way. She can't help them all. She's probably secretly doing that for a select few. there was a programme on VH1 last night, I think it was called "all access - celebrity rags to riches" or something, and it had Oprah on it, talking about how shed gone from having nothing to being absolutely minted, but that she had given away millions of dollars to charity in just the last year.
shes a good person, we need more like her!!  | |

I love Oprah -- of course people are gonna hate on anyone in a position such as hers but the truth is she is a Reporter/ actress, turned talk show host and Production studio CEO and it is not her JOB to be a humanitarian this is something she chooses to do! whether it's from the bottom of her heart(which I would like to belive) or for the IRS- the point is alot people in need have gotten help through Oprah and that in itself should be commended! | |

I think it is just a dream. I read somewhere, I think it may have been Michael Moore's book that he confronted her and asked her to please run. I think she said NO, she did not want to be president. Can't blame her there.. Does anyone know, Did W open up his wallet to donate for this disaster? Just curious, I may be dreaming again, I know... | |
