U can smash up my ride.....well maybe not the RIDE!

Ok orgers....I am here again to get you to examine the humility a good fuck up can get you. Have you yourself or anyone ever done acts of violence towards your partner/girlfriend/wife out of severe anger over a situation? Thrown a pot, glass, bottle, scratched up a car, broke windows, etc...just because you were hurt so bad?

I've had my car and house vandalized once by a young lady, and let it be known...I deserved it!

Next?

Yes, marriage is "for better or for worse". In one of the "worse" times in my marriage, I kicked the car (it was our car and my husband was in it) and I dented the fender.

He never removed the dent. Said he wanted a reminder of what I'm like when pushed too far.
I'm firmly planted in denial

Sure I have. My bf and I were famous for throwing shit at each other when we were younger. I throw shit, my bf punches holes in things and throws shit.

The worst examples I can give is when I was 17 I broke a finger punching his dashboard.

When I was 19 I sat on the bumper of his car so he couldn't drive away and he did anyway throwing me onto the ground, so I kicked his car and dented it.

When I was 21 I ripped up a lottery ticket that he had that was worth 200 bucks.

When I was 22 my bf threw a tv remote at me, hit me in the foot and I was so bruised I limped for 2 weeks...He said be lucky I didn't throw it at your face which was my first thought.

I think it's all just part of growing up.... we don't do that stuff anymore, and we laugh at what we did then.

I have smashed a dinnerplate or two when I was 18 but they were my own plates. I never destroyed other people's stuff..... at least, I don't remember doing so confused biggrin

Worse thing I ever did was slam an Xterra door in the heat of an argument.

That was nearly a year ago. eek I've yet to be forgiven.

Reincarnate

I can't remember doing anything like that, or having anything like that done to me. If I get angry, I tend to shout and let it all out; if I get REALLY angry, I have to either throw a complete fit or walk away. I don't get angry often - maybe once every couple of years.

Unfortunately, yes. I don't have the best temper, and on one occasion it took over my usual rational mind. I regret it to this day.

My ex dented my steering wheel and somehow loosened the "hand part" of it? I don't know how else to describe it. we were stressed out and he was being a baby about his responsibility and I was being a typical female reminding him how fucked up shit was and he bugged out. But as far as me? I don't think I've done anything and I know some of the assholes I dealt with deserved it.

Now this is a great thread. lol

Once upon a time... I used the phrase, "You better duck, mother fucker!" I was quick to throw whatever was nearest... if I asked to be let alone (while beyond mad)... and they didn't take me serious.

I was violent. Seriously.

The list is long...

Lawdy Jesus, lawdy Jesus. The bitch done gone berserk!

No direct reference to your sister of course SammiJ.
Just thinking of Margaret Avery's knife throwing scene from Which Way Is Up?
(IMO, Richard Pryor's funniest movie ever)

The closest i've come to a situation like that is when a former girlfriend came all the way from Florida to L.A. to hang out for a few days.
One day while I was at work she found the female lead singer's clothes in one of the closets and literally sliced them to ribbons.
saw

Luckily, I escaped (does a quick inventory) unscathed. cool
I've never been done in by love to that extreme. Can't say the same for some partners.
If it's time to part ways, the Let's Just Kiss and Say Goodbye method is more my speed.

My wife has thrown clothes hangers at me. She was standing on the bed at the time just hurling them at me. I just couldn't stop laughing. lol

I did throw her mobile phone off the balcony once and broke it. boxed
