A techie question about cd burning

Hi guys. I have just downloaded the Rainbow Children from NPGMC and burnt it to cd. But inbetween tracks, it counts backwards for two seconds eg..

-2, -1 0, play song!! u know what i mean? so it doesnt flow.

Is there anyway I can burn it again, but chang some kind of setting when I burn it, to prevent the cd being created with a 2 second delay between each track?

Many thanks!! smile

PH.

If you're using Nero to burn your CD. Select all songs to be burned, right click, choose properties. You'll see an option of the number of seconds pause in between songs. Set it to zero.
I think similar options are available in other burning-software.

Hope it helps!

the version of sonicstage i have, does not come with a cd-burning option, so i wouldn't know. stickpoke WMP9 -if there was an easy way i would uninstall it.
Maybe someone knows of a good freeware cd burning program which has the pause-option

Aaaaaalllrighty then!!!!! i did it! I downloaded Nero, used the copy of TRC i made with WMP9, tranfered the songs over (as Nero would not recognise the mp3's i downloaded from npgmc), gave them all track names, selected the option to reduce the pause to 0 seconds, and burnt a new copy-this time with no pauses!

Its taken me a day, some nice ppl on prince.org and 2 blanc cd's, but now finally I have what I want!! A copy of TRC that plays SMOOOOOTHLY with no pauses!

yes sir!!! I now pronounce this threat closed!!! unless u wish to make any final comments!!

So thanks guys, Nero - actually did the trick. its a neat cd software buring programme isnt it?

Thanx!

That's going to be tough. If you really want to get into it buy TOTAL RECORDER. It's about 9 bucks over the web. You can record anything that's on the web as a wave file then burn it. I suggest Nero for burning without gaps. Not a lot of programs offer that function which is called Disc-at-once.

If nothing works. org note me.
