Frank Sanders aka ServeitupFrankie passed away on June 2nd Ive been thinking about posting this for a couple days so I can get my thoughts together & perhaps get some better insight but I felt I should post this news now.It is with heavy heart that I tell everybody here that Frank Sanders aka ServeitupFrankie has passed away from heart failure on June2nd. I'm not sure what his medical condition was, but he had to have dialysis several times a week. He was, as all of you may know a big presence in the Prince fan online community. The Frank I know was a kind & generous person who gave generously from his vast collection of videos.I've only met him a couple times at gigs & he came off as a cool guy.As a fellow Gay man & Prince fan we had many things in common. I only wish now I knew him better.Please leave your condolences at his website:

this is very sad news. i didn't know him very well, but we've chatted back and forth in the forums a few times. he seemed like a really swell guy who really dug talking about the music - he will be missed. | |

i know i wished that i got to know him too and his website has been around for a longtime i think he started in 1996. anyway rip serveitupfrankie you will be missed. | |

I remember reading his posts on here. Via his website which I once visited I got exposed to Betty Davis, a great but mostly overlooked funk singer. RIP Frank! | |
