What Are You Reading?

Haven't seen this in awhile... thought I'd check on what some of ya'll are reading.

Me?

Vigil by David Masello

and (I don't do this often, but I'm reading two books at the same time - I don't recommend this)

Honeymoon With My Brother by Franz Wisner

I'm lovin' both of 'em.

One is very scary, one is heart-warming.

What are you reading?

Oh and Istenszek (sp?), I have finally started The Master and Margarita. I'm at the point where they have that "magic show" in the theater. Actually, I've just met the Master. Still haven't seen Margarita.

Behometh is a bad kitty! no no no!

It's a bizarre book!

I've also started reading a collection of short stories (I usually don't like to read short story collections... I don't know why) called Every Hunter Wants to Know, by a writer named Mikhail Iossel, a Soviet emigre.

The first story "Beyond the Pale" was really good. It's autobiographical I guess, about a student in Leningrad who meets a westerner and they discover they have certain things in common, like their ancestors came from the same place in Byelorussia or somewhere, and that they look alike. But the story is really just what it's like living in the USSR at that time, and what it means to leave your home etc. Really good.

Usually when I am reading more than 1 book at a time it means I am reading very poorly. neutral

A horrible book that I picked up yesterday while hurrying through the book store. Can't remember the name, too lazy to get up and grab it, but it's a memoir of a fancy-dancy lady who got knocked up and wasn't prepared.

Waste of about $12.95.

i'm kind of on the verge of going absolutely mad again since I am
reading too many books at the same time. Usually I don't go above
three at once at the very most.
now it's five and I feel like my brain is about to start melting,
in a nice way though hehe.

for more info, see: http://www.nlpvf.nl/Book/...p?Book=391

almost finished "Mystical Body" and "Rise and Decline of the Medici Bank",
so it'll be only three after tonight.
