MINNESOTA VIKINGS!!!!!

I am dying for football....I hate the off season...it seems to last forever.....a few more weeks then preseason will begin... woot!

I think alot of people will be shocked at how much better the Vikings will play w/o Moss. Now that everybody on offense will feel they are part of the scheme the all-around play will improve.

You'll still be fighting for second in the Norris behind.....

You're forgetting the first one 4 years ago! Hahahaha!

Yes, we have won enough, I can't even believe we won last year. But all of our good players and coaches are gone so I think it's another teams year this year. I actually don't want them to win another one...they'll get way too cocky. Like I already am wink

But I can't help laugh at Peyton cuz he's so good but always chokes when he plays us lol

CarrieLee CarrieLee - layin' it on thick & hard on the Colts, ain't ya???
well, the Patriots have earned the right for all their fans to talk as much shit as they want to.

I respect the Patriots, even though they (barely) beat
MY EAGLES
down in J'ville earlier this year..

I'll be REALLY impressed if the Patriots can do it again,
especially after having lost BOTH their offensive & defensive coordinators..
plus..
the Colts can't lose to the P-men EVERY time, now can they???

still - all this talk about the NFL is getting me
REALLY REVVED UP for this season -

"The Road to FORTY"

WE THE EAGLES PLAN TO BE ON THAT ROAD
ALL THE WAY UP TO DETROIT..

like they used to say on those "NFL Sunday Ticket" commercials :

LET THERE BE FOOTBALL.
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

If you were in my shoes you'd do the same thing!

To answer your question, no the Colts can't lose to us every time, and they probably won't! Peyton has always been the talk of the town because of how good he was. The Patriot's hardly ever got any credit because we didn't have any "superstars" putting up all the numbers like Peyton. But yet we've won 3 superbowls in 4 years. So when we kick his ass again and again it does give me some pleasure!!!

We still have Bill, and he's a genious. But losing our defensive and offensive coordinators is going to hurt big time, because they were master minds of the game as well.

We'll just have to wait and see!

And ya we just barely beat the Eagles, but we did beat them. And they gave up too quickly, they could have won. We were just a better TEAM that year.

Yeah Yeah Yeah
We got a RB in Bensen who'll be rookie of the year I'm thinking about 15,000-2,000 yrds and 10-12 tds
Our WR core is young but good. alot better then they are given credit for clutch guys like Wade, Gage and Berrian (our speed guy) they have no fear. I see two 1,000 yrd seasons and 750yrd for the 3rd guy.
The O-line (our biggest issue last season) wa shored uyo w/vets via FA and should be solid.
Grossman will play for his next contract and you know how good guys get when it's time for da'money.
Our Defense is solid, just could'nt keep up with the offenses 3&out syndrome
Last But Not Least WE HAVE A FREAKIN FOOTBALL COACH
Coach Smith will have the squad playing like men possessed...
Da Bears Champions of the Norris....You Heard it here 1st....

I couldn't agree more. Now if we can just get some more money, we'll be playing in Europe next year!

Thanks I was wondering how the system worked, I thought htere were 3 teirs, but I wasn't sure. I had no idea about the money aspect, as strong as fan bases are there I figured a few finicial harships but nothing as drastic as the teams assets being sold off, so does the team still play the next season or does if fold completely...

It depends (I think)...you are at the mercy of the banks. Teams in the lower leagues have been known to fold (or be folded) and go out of existence on the other hand, the bigger teams still have 'pulling power' so the banks or people who buy up the debt keep the teams going however.....

A number of clubs have been known to deliberately go into administration, have their debts wiped out (its like bankrupcy) and go on witha clean slate and therfore an unfair advantage over all the other clubs around them. Leicester City Football Club (one of Derby Countys local rivals) did just this and, because tehy had no pressure on them, won a place in the premiership...since this happened teh regulatory body has decided a punishment will be put in place for future clubs going int administration - they will have 10 points docked which,in footballing terms, is a nightmare.

Boring and complicated i know but thats how it works...the weasels who own the clubs will exploit any loopholes they can and the leagues will always be one step behind
