eek Flippin' 'eck Froggy, you're one hell of an honorary Indian, you know this don't you bruv lol Rezpec'. I'm crowning you with a turban next time I see ya wink

"Fire", a below average film that's badly paced by the director (only in my opinion like). I liked the bold ideas the film tried to portray but though the execution wasn't great. I don't care how much the film makers deny this but they definitely used the "controversy"/taboo element of the film to publicize it's release (esp. outside India) which back fired on them. It wasn't meant to truely be the central theme of the flick but ended up being. This detracted a defining edge that the film could have had.*

* I'm just so fucking bitter coz I thought it was gonna be some sort of wild Asian Babes Kama Sutra sex fest between Shabana Azmi ( drooling ) and (the beautiful ) Nandita Das mad . This may have influenced my opinion of the film neutral

I loved the movie and watch it every time it comes on.

Is "Karma Sutra" (the movie) considered a Bollywood movie?

Nah, it's classed more as just Indian cinema. I guess "Bollywood" is in actually fact is a sub-genre of Indian cinema, but is SO SO huge that it's sort of created it's own genre cool

Oh, incidently, the movie title is "KAMA SUTRA" wink The word "Karma" means something different entirely biggrin

"Kama Sutra" is also a Nair film starring an absolute all time, old skool, Bollywood legend, Rekha.....

She was the 'dance teacher' in "Kama Sutra" smile

'...pic' edit cool

Nice little coincidence..... Rekha is actually from the very same city biggrin

It used to be called Madras 'til the mid 90's. Now it's official name is Chennai thumbs up!

She's the Indian actress equivalent to Cher. Rekha's well into her fifties (may be sixties) but still looks as though she's thirty-something sexy She claims she's had nothing done to her face, it's all about diet and facial exercises. Rumours have been that she spends up to 6 hours a day on her face eek

I think she was the most beautiful one out of all the ladies in Kama Sutra. When I was watching the movie I felt like she was older but she looked so "beyond" beautiful I couldn't take my eyes off of her.
