So! How anal are you with your eyebrows, keeping them in tip top shape? Do you pluck everyday, once a week, special occasions or never.. and what shape are they? Any weird stories?

I have fairly thin and blonde brows to begin with so I don't tweeze that much, but when I do I use anbesol on the area, and I fill in with pale brown eyeshadow powder, not pencil.

I used to pluck maybe every 3 , 4 days or whatever, but now I got these ammmaaaaazing tweezers, they demand more of the job...

my eyebrows must ALWAYS be done so i can accent them with white eyeshadow...being black, the contours work WONDERS on my face LOL

i pluck mine every weekend because my eyebrows grow back in pretty quick. i'm thinkin about gettin 'em waxed every now and again instead of just straight-up pluckin 'em, cuz it's a pain in the ass to keep doin it.

I don't pluck my eyebrows nearly enough, I pluck them when I HAVE to and i try and get away with it for as long as possible

i am lucky my brows are a nice shape and only have to take out a few strays though

it doesn't hurt that much if you do it after a hot bath/shower and the pores are open.

I never used to pluck up until about 5 or so years ago when I one day suddenly realized how much of a difference brows and brow shape/s make to a face. these days I pretty much pluck the one or two stray hairs every day or so that I notice when I wash my face in the AM and that way I don't ever have to do one big major plucking once a week or anything. It's easier for me to do it that way, anyway.

A few months ago I bought a pack of various brow stencils. I really like trying the different brow shapes (although only the one shape, I think, *really* looks good on me..) The stencils really help me pluck where I should, or not pluck where I shouldn't, and the finished result when I use them to fill in my brows with pencil looks way better than me just doing it freehand. The stencils were a good investment.

What's with those chicks that totally shave off their eyebrows and then draw them back on with one hard line of pencil or liquid liner?

My mom uses those little red Maybelline pencils, too. She doesn't shave her eyebrows off first, but she reaallly darkens them a LOT more with those pencils. She's done that forever, as long as I can remember. I guess when she started wearing makeup that was the thing to do and she's just stayed with the look.

I pluck my eyebrows quite much daily, expect for the weekends when my skin
just takes some rest mostly. I keep my brows quite big, I don't pluck them
that much. I keep the curve in control and look that there isn't any "stupid"
hairs, that go everywhere.

I don't dye my brows, they're naturally quite black.
This picture doesn't show the color that well, but the shape is quite visible.
It could look better, but this will do for now.


Plucking doesn't hurt, atleast it doesn't hurt me. I'm so used to plucking
my eyebrows, that I don't feel the pain. And I never felt any pain actually!

Keep your brows shaped, I really should do something to my brows.
(I know, my eye looks tired in the picture!)

Has anybody mentioned women that get rid of their brows completely, then draw them in halfway up their foreheads? that's hilarious everytime.

I can get obsessive over plucking. I generally check them every day and pluck a stray hair or 2 every other day or so. I actually enjoy it.

I use Nad's to wax mine. It doesn't hurt either like people tend to claim and it lasts for about two or three weeks. I hate plucking.....I'm too impatient to pluck one hair at a time. When I was about 13, I used Nair to try to shape my eyebrows and ended up with half eyebrows. I had to use a pencil to fill them back in...it was still pretty obvious, but I guess it could've been worse. I could've taken my whole eyebrows off.
