DRY LIPS! No matter how much lip blam I put on, my lips always feel dry and chapped. I once read that if you take a dry toothbrush and gently brush your lips it will get rid of the dryness. i tried that but the feeling is temporary.
Any product recomendations or secret to JUICY (ooh baby ), WET (YES! YES!) lips? No seriously....please help! Let the rain come down...17 days....

My proposal would be fun for me but probably not too much fun for you. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

I've heard good things about Prescriptives...are you a satisifed customer? Yes I use the Lip Specialist at night and the Tinted Balm ( http://shopping.msn.com/e...2647%3aGLS )during the day. Drinking a lot of water during the day and using your moisturizer on your lips as well as your face are good ideas, and if you tend to lick your lips a lot that can make you lose a lot of your natural moisture so be careful about that.

I haven't tried Vaseline so I guess it's worth a shot but I would think it would just sit on top of the lip and not really fix the problem. Could be wrong.

you can also try getting a cat to lick your lips. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

lol I also love this, works well and has great flavor, although you might not want a flavored balm if you tend to lick your lips. http://www.maccosmetics.c...D=PROD3663 I almost forgot, sun damage can cause dryness (just like tanning your skin too much can give you leather skin) so an SPF might be helpful in the longer term. Don't forget that you still get sunlight in the winter, especially if there's white snow around you reflecting the uv rays up.

Any product recomendations or secret to JUICY (ooh baby ), WET (YES! YES!) lips? No seriously....please help! Well I do know that the more you use that stuff the more they dry out your lips...or can. Some people can get addicted to it too. Do you drink lots of water? Dry lips are a sign you don't get enough water. However if you want a product recommedation...Carmex stays on for a long time and I don't have to reapply it for a while. That blistex stuff smells great and has a nice flavor...and says "super moist" however they make your lips "super dry" after like 15-20 min. Christian Zombie Vampires

I bought this stuff from sephora by Rosebud.. Its in a tin.. its really good after you get out of the shower..
Also i heard try putting neosporin on your lips.. its suppose to heal and protect.. The day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom - Anais Nin

Carmex is fantastic. I lived in Colorado for 6 years and it's sooooo dry out there. I always had Carmex with me. When I went back for Christmas, my lips dried up within a day so I immediately went to Target and bought some!

Ex-Moderator | I use a lip "mask". Really. It's like a really gentle exfoliater for your lips. You rub it on, let it sit for a minute or two and rinse with warm water. Follow up with a super moisturizing balm. I use it about once or twice a week. I'll have to look at the brand when I get home... |
