Its a form of protection. However, with the clothing that we where in these modern times, it is not necessary in heavy amounts in certain places. Now eyleashes, nose hair (ooh nasty) etc., they are still necessary forms of protection agianst debris etc., But brazilian waxes are great and the hair just gets in the way now, its not needed.

I guess it depends on where you live. If your in a big city, I doubt they take a second look. Guys go to spas and get manicures etc. all the time now. I know a guy who gets a facial and his back waxed every three weeks. They have a term for modern men like this, ever heard of metrosexuals? You'll be fine, just get a phonebook find a spa with a big ad, that means they are probably a nice, clean spa b/c they can afford a nice size ad, and call and make an appointment. Tell them you want a bikini, brazilian, underarm, eyebrow, leg (full or half), back, whole face, etc., etc., They'll tell you how much and schedule you. Its simple. Trust me though, its addictive. Your skin is so smooth and it last for about a month. Its really great.

Anyway, if you want everything just tell them that when you schedule an appointment. The average price is about $50-$75 depending on where you go. Also I have never seen anything but women trained in this field, so I doubt you have to wory about intimedating any other men w/ your big package.
If you get it done though try to get sugaring instead of waxing, its less irritating on the skin. Also you have to tell us everything and let us know if you were satisfied.

I almost forgot. If you don't already keep it trimmed or anything. Cut it down to about a 1/4 of an inch. It will still hurt, but not nearly as much as it would with long hair. Very important!

It's never been an issue... I've done it many times in Seattle, Indianapolis, and Detroit (there's a spa in the Detroit airport where I sometimes go to kill time while waiting for my connecting flight).

BTW, the woman who often does my eyebrows here in Seattle says that men seem to have a harder time dealing with the pain of waxing than women do. She's impressed by my ability to take it without flinching or making a sound.
