The Incredibles

This film is poised to be a monsterous success of historical proportions. My inside scoop says the story is unbeatable.

I think the previews are brainwashing us. Everyone I have talked to wants to see it. Even my boyfriend, which is a shocker.

I think this is going to be a great movie..kinda like big kids animation. My bf actually wants to see it and he's the one who got me wanting to see it...We both chuckle when the commercial comes on where the suit is too small for the guy, and he gets called to supper...lol!! Love it!!

I'm just happy that they're attaching it to a movie that might actually be decent, as oppossed to when Episode I's trailer hit. It was attached to dreck like Meet Joe Black and The Waterboy. I literally watched the trailer, then snuck into Pleasantville.

Still, the main reason I wanna see this is for the SW trailer!!!

It's odd. I HATED the first previews I saw for this film. I thought pixar had finally lost their mojo. But, the more recent previews have me totally cracking up and I can't WAIT to see the film now...

its not supposed to be good because of the humor... its rumored to actually be more exciting and intense then a "real" superhero movie like Spiderman or x-men. Its supposed to have a great script which builds and builds... and its the first "PG" pixar movie.... characters actually get hurt.

I'm curious...

you say that, here in the UK i hear the UCI cinema chain have attached it to the sequal to Bridget Jones!! (or at least the preview screenings anyway)

Bizarre.

I hope they put it in front of The Incredibles in due course.

At least it's online now anyway. shrug

hmmm i was thinking that maybe they would put it on the late show. what time did you go? we went at 7:30, and there were a whole bunch of little kids there. maybe they thought it would scare them too much, so they attached it only to the late showings? can anyone corroborate my theory?

I like this better than all the live action superheroe movies due to the well written script and well planned and sequenced action scenes. (as compared to Spiderman or X-men or Batman)

It has a lot of "Watchmen" influence. It's done in a hybrid style of James Bond/Watchmen. Lots of inluence from Moonraker and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

George Lucas really needs the type of writers these guys have put together. They don't let up until it's perfect. The new Indiana has been in a lot of script trouble... but these people could write a great one... I'm sure of it. If only they had ghost re-written all the new star wars scripts... if only...
