Who'd think someone would sell a box of left over scrap fabric...let alone who'd but a box of scrap fabric? After reading the previous reviews I imagined these ladybugs to be of surpassing quality. Unfortunately, the box I purchased contained a different product than advertised here.

Out of "9000 Ladybugs", only 8,723 were actually alive. Well over 300 bugs were dead and I imagine it distressed the living bugs a great deal to be shipped by UPS Ground for 7-13 business days among their dead comrades. These are the same horrible conditions that African Americans were made to suffer during the great shame of slavery, although the ladybugs suffer on a smaller scale.

As for the living ladybugs, I was actually somewhat shocked that they had a crunchier texture than I had imagined. A slight salty aftertaste follows the bitterness, and they are superb when mixed in with popcorn and a little kosher salt. I ate nearly all of them within the first few days. Luckily I remembered to save some for the Jambalaya I was making. Everyone needs a "secret" ingredient.

If you're looking for ladybugs of decent quality and somewhat crunchier than your garden variety bug, without the hassle of catching them or fooling them into the back of a shoebox with easy listening music, this is a decent product and well worth the money. If you're open minded, you can really enjoy some fabulous new recipes that are easily found online for Ladybug meals, snacks, and even hors d'ouvres.

I thought this would be a great and natural way to manage my garden, but these Ladybugs are seriously demented. They didn't stop at aphids. Oh no! All vegetable matter is gone. My trees, my lawn, the adhesive holding up the aluminum siding. My neighbors are incensed.
Even now, I hear the creaking as they eat through the 2x4s that hold this house together. I only hope that once they get through they will not want to eat the flesh of my wife and children. If only I'd bought that six pack of Round Up instead. Truly I have brought evil to our home.

The gnawing sound is growing louder now. SAVE YOURSELVES!!!!

What I thought was gonna be a cute and cuddly little farm turned out to be the nightmare from hell. What I found out was these guys were somehow escaping the 2 inch by 2 inch cube I'd leave them in and one by one they'd eat anything they could in the house. For the first few weeks I had no idea what it was. I mean after all, i didn't know the lady bugs would escape. But they would manage to get themselves back in during the night! And it didn't stop there. They managed to tear their eway through my son's lower, left leg. And not ONE ladybug was found in his flesh. They simply ate and ran. I later found out these guys were actually fitted with microchips and minicams to see how people actually treated them. It was a PETA project. I'm now writing to you inside a white-collar detention facility for a few months. Thank God for conjugal visits.

There used to be a lot more, but Amazon removed them.
