Sports Shorts U.S.A. vs Italy...
Anyone see our...gulp...Olympic team get its ass kicked in today's exhibition game with Italy? What stood out to me, and what has been IMO the NBA's Achilles heel for quite a few years now, is the absence of anyone who can consistently drain a jumper. In other sports news... It seems that the Viagra is working overtime for Baltimore Oriole Rafael Palmeiro as he tied Babe Ruth on the career hits list in today's win over the Seattle Mariners. By hits, I assume they mean baseballs and not babes...or are they?

I hear you. Here's the problem. I believe this is the 1st Olympic exhibition game they've ever lost. It's just feels like a real bad omen of things to come. See you're from L.A. too. Can't wait for the NBA to start and the 1st Shaq/Kobe confrontation. Should be an interesting season
