The Morning Papers.
Just been listening to the I think that one of the standout tracks is The Morning Papers. The guitars, the horns, Michael B's drumming, i just really enjoy it. Anyone agree, or not?

The song was released as a single on 1st March 1993 in the UK and 3rd April 1993 in the USA. It was available as a 7inch vinyl and a cd. The b-side was Live 4 Love from Diamonds & Pearls, and the cd also featured Love 2 The 9's from the The single reached number 52 in the UK and number 44 in the USA. (wiki chart info)

I became a Prince fan only in early 90's..and that was after listening to "love symbol"..
The Morning Papers always holds a special place in my heart...

maybe it's just a chick song then it sounds kind of romantic and whimsical to me 
like light hearted fun fantasy music
I agree, Damn U is a great ballad, it was only released in the USA and only reached number 108.

He was 34. It is likely that the song is about Mayte, who was only 16 when she and prince met.
