I am a great admirer of Prince's music and the man himself. I love some songs/albums, i also dislike some songs/albums, but i dont think i have "hated" anything he has ever done.....so far.

neither. i am a sane fan who thinks prince makes some of the most asinine business choices that any artist ever has without completely losing their career.

Consider myself a "lover" although I don't always like every Prince song I hear. I enjoy watching and learning about his career but I do make distinctions between his life and mine and recognize his decisions are made by him for his life.

I think some fans get waaaaayyyy to caught up in Prince's life and career and when he doesn't do what they think he should do they get real personal. Its kind of strange.

I think it's funny people concern themselves with Prince's life when it's positive or any time they want to discuss his personal life but any other comments are not welcome. I also think it's funny that we discuss tons of celebrities, good or bad, but Prince is somehow off limits. I think it's funny how he himself can make some not so flattering remarks about people and that's cool to some of you but when "we" do it, we are haters. I think it's funny that, if it were any other website or a store and the customer service sucked, it would be okay to bitch about service, but since it's Prince, it's okay.

Call me a hater. I truly don't give a fuck what Prince and 95% percent of the people on this site think of me. At the end of an Org day, I shut my computer down and don't give most of you a second thought. I say what I think. I don't bash Prince for the sake of bashing Prince but to say someone is a hater because they don't like certain songs or albums or for whatever reason, is ludicrous.

How many threads do we need on this same topic? How many years have people been bitching about this same thing? The over-zealousness and fake positivity is cloying and overbearing but I don't waste my time bitching about it. Prince is not going to judge all of his fans but the negative words of a few.
