Lionel Ritchie's "Running With The Night" video (1983) Isn't this one of the coolest videos ever? My sister recently bought a DVD containing Lionel's music videos and I just had to borrow it.Lionel's videos from the 'Can't Slow Down' album were amazing! In this video,Lionel is playing some kind of gangster,he and his crew are all decked out in cool threads,and the scene where they "crash" a wedding is exciting.We get to see Lionel serenade a lonely,bored Sheila E (!!) who perks up when she sees him.Doesn't she look great in that red dress? The choreography is very good too.
I hate all the current rap videos,stuff like "Running With The Night" is what I really miss! Back then,videos were fun and exciting to watch. | |

Videos used to be so much fun. I used to love that video! I remember seeing Sheila E. the next year and saying "Hey, isn't that the lady in the Lionel Ritchie video?" Speaking of Lionel, I also loved his Love Will Conquer All video.I hate all the current rap videos,stuff like "Running With The Night" is what I really miss! Back then,videos were fun and exciting to watch. | |
