I watched "mask" for the millionth time last night--I love this movie and am trying to remember...did she or Sam Elliot get an Oscar nomination for their roles? I'm trying to recall who won that year--only thing that's coming to mind is Meryl Streep, "Out of Africa."

The movie 'Mask' is GREAT and Cher does a wonderful job.She really should have won an Oscar for that role.

Cher was nont nominated for her role (not sure about Sam Elliot) and made quite a stink about it (deservingly so). Reemember that outfit with the big hair and stuff she wore teh to Oscars on year. That was the year she was a presenter but not nominated for "Mask". Probably one of her best preformances. I would love to see it again.

btw,Cher has a new movie coming out soon.I just saw the commercial for it today.It's great that she has gone back to acting again.
