The NEW Rick Springfield

Well he's finally done mixing the damn thing. Ricks follow-up to 1999's KARMA and 2001's ALIVE the greatest LIVE cd ever. RICK is back with his new CD called "SHOCKDENIALANGERACCEPTANCE" and hits stores 02/14/04 right on Valentines day and hits his website first just after the new year with a LIMITED EDITION CD only from the WEBSITE containing a BONUS DISC of DEMOS and tracks. This CD is a total contrast to KARMA which was almost all acoustic and all the instruments were played by RICK on that one. This RECORD is made with his longtime band that he has been touring with since the 80's, this RECORD is a ANGRY ROCK RECORD as RICK put it on his online chat recently, alot of guitars blazing and being smashed. Heres the track list

EVERYNIGHT I WAKE UP SCREAMING
ANGELS OF THE DISAPPEARED
SHOOT YOUR GURU
GOD GAVE U TO EVERYONE
EDEN
YOUR PSYCHOPATHIC MOTHER
WASTED
BEAUTIFUL YOU
PERFECT
WILL I ?
IDONTWANTANYTHINGFROMYOU
THE INVISIBLE GIRL
JESUS SAVES WHITE TRASH LIKE YOU
MY DEPRESSION
OPEN MY EYES
I'LL MAKE YOU HAPPY
ALIEN VIRUS
FOREVER (ONLY ON WEBSITE COPIES)

BONUS DISC WILL INCLUDE DEMOS FROM THE ALBUM AND OLDER ALBUMS AND WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE THROUGH HIS WEBSITE SIMILAR TO THE WAY HE PUT OUT "ALIVE", IF u BOUGHT IT THROUGH THE WEBSITE TRACKS WERE DIFFERENT BONUS DISC HD DEMOS FROM 1980-82 AND HAD ENHANCED VIDEO FOOTAGE, PLUS THE FIRST 5000 WERE PERSONALLY SIGNED.

PEACE RICK

I love his 80s material, but I probably won't buy this new CD.It's sometimes sad to see what happens to forgotten rock stars.Last year,Rick produced an album by another 80s has-been...Corey Feldman!

Tao was an unappreciated classic record. He will never untie the teeny-pop strings, what a shame. I'd hate to live like that - people just not hearing you unless you're doing a hit song from 2 decades ago.
