This song brings alot of funny & dear memories 2 me.

I remember my father taking me 4 the 1st time in a Stephanie Mills concert when I was 6 maybe 7(Now, from a distance. People always mistaken my father 4 Teddy Pendergrass back in the day, he looks alot like him from say 10 meters when he's sitting) and I remember her pointing her finger on my daddy like "What Cha Gonna Do With My Lovin" and the back-up vocalists where singing along, she sang the whole verse-2 while she's looking and pointing at my daddy, I kid you not lol. I remember turning my head 2ward my mother and funny thang was she had a sharp mean look like she's saying 2 herself "That heffa! Is she gonna try to pull him up 2 the stage and strip 4 him too?" on our way out she sent one of her assistants 2 my father and when got near her limo she apoligized by saying with a laugh "I swear o' god that I was this close from asking you to join me on stage" she thanked us 4 coming and went on her own day.

I'll neva 4get that night.

I love Stephanie Mills. When she came to town in April w/The Isley Brothers, she outperformed them to me. She sounded perfect. I love this cut by her and so many others.

This is an excellent song! I love the cover by Inner City.

It's amazing that a voice like that comes out of someone so small. It makes you think she's only lungs on the inside

One of my favorite female vocalists of all time. She'd sing circles around 99% percent of these so called female vocalists today.

Yes,Stephanie is currently on a summer tour right now with Teddy Pendergrass.The two of them recorded a few duets together back in the early 80s.Unfortunately,their July show was cancelled in my area.

Meanwhile,Stephanie continues to work on a new album that is being released on the Def Jam/Classics record label later this year (it's a new label devoted to Old School artists).
