I agree with Shapeshifter that, should he go to the bootyhouse for a few years (and,if guilty, he deserves to), R Kelly will probably have made sure he's paid people off in there to watch his back. A guy like him will have those kind of connections.

My personal opinion? They should have arrested him first time around, not the 100th.

There was a little scandal if I remember right, but since both he & Aaliyah denied it, it didn't really go anywhere. Since then, there has been documentation that they really were married (marriage license). Legality of it would depend on the State they were married in and the law at the time.
