Where's Ricky Martin? He was everywhere by the latin invasion in 1999-every paper,every TV channel.Today he's gone.I read about his collaboration with the Neptunes but nothing else after his hits "Living La Vida Loca" and "Shake Your Bon-Bon".
Is he coming back?

He performed at the TMF [The Music Factory] awards about a
month ago, here in Holland. I think it was his first live
performance in Europe in a long time [at least that's what
the presenter said].

He performed that new song for which a video has been on
tv over here quite a few times over the past month or so.

He's got rather long hair at the front of his head now
which he combs over to the back or side. It looks, well
no point in being tactful, it looks fucking hilarious.

The song was crap to boot.

I like his new cd a lot. Especially the title track which was written by Alejandro Sanz! It has the bonus dvd, but it's only about 10 mins long! . I prefer him singing in Spanish..then again, That goes for almost all latin artists. Gloria, Shakira, Selena, etc... But I'm glad he came out with something new finally!!

Hopefully he won't come back. He is, without question, my least favorite musical artist EVER.

Actually, I could care less about Ricky Martin. I just made this thread so I can stretch my Spanish muscle. I didn't know it was going to get so many responses. Maybe I should've opted for Angie Martinez instead? :X Oops.

Actually...from what I heard, he was working on TWO albums during his hiatus (while he also travelled throughout India for religious reasons)...one in Spanish and one in English.

The english one is set to come out later this year (I think).
