Pre-release hype---don't you hate when it's all over?

Do you guys remember the last few months when I was bringing you all this "exclusive" information on Madonna's new CD? Remember the early tracklists, containing songs that didn't appear on the finished album?...

"Unless It's You"
"Can't You See My Mind?"
"Liquid Love"
"La Petit"
"Believe Her" (produced by Dr.Dre)
"Ziggy Stardust"

Remember the links I provided where you could hear the songs? I recall one specific thread that screamed "WANNA HEAR MADONNA'S NEW SINGLE "AMERICAN LIFE"? CLICK HERE!!!"

Remember when TRON gave us our first look at the album cover? Remember the link I provided where you could view Maddy's controversial "American Life" video? Remember when I posted the lyrics to a few songs?

Well, now that the CD has been released,I miss all the excitement! The pre-release hype is alot of fun. There's nothing like it.I'm enjoying the CD but I gotta admit,I feel kinda bummed out.Do you guys ever feel this way after one of your favorite artists releases their CD?

I saw the Madonna thing on MTV where she was signing a few songs. Can you ever imagine Prince doing something like that for a new album?

By the way, I didn't care for a few of those new songs.

Personally, I'm glad all the Madonna hype is over.i like some of her stuff and have most of her albums, but American life doesn't even rank. One of her worst efforts by far, but she's got other things to enjoy now (family etc).

She just isn't as driven or ambitious anymore, which i can appreciate.

I wish she had put out some of those other songs that were mentioned, in particular the Dr. Dre produced one. Would've been interesting to hear, at least.
