Remember Alicia Myers & One Way

The minute I heard "You Get The Best From Me (Say, Say, Say)" & "If You Play Your Cards Right" I dropped everything and listened 2 that angelic powerful voice. To this day, I can't go through the song without crying! I so relate 2 her mood when she sang it, I don't know what she went through but whateva it is I can sense it.

LOL so much 2 talk about when you got the "Best Of One Way" LP between yo hands nod all I could say is Miss Myers need 2 bounce back with a solo project.

That song may be by Surface? They had a hit song called Closer Than Friends.

"Something In the Past" by One Way (1980)

Alicia Myers can be heard on this killer slow jam.

"always seems to be something in the past that won't let us last...please,don't bring it up..."

I love that woman. I love that group, but how can you mention her without mentioning "I Wanna Thank You"? Hey, do you own the best of One Way featuring Alicia Myers or the one that is just the best of One Way?

I know the Surface song that you're referring to, but that is not the song that I am thinking of. I'm pretty sure there was a song called "More Than Friends" by a group called One Way.
