Yes, Michael was a song and dance man who also COMPOSED some of the most iconic songs/music in history; although, some conveniently TRY to ignore and dismiss that FACT. These songs, his “art” will not be forgotten. MJ has been gone almost 12 years and a new generation of fans have discovered him and LOVE him and his music. Not only will his impact be remembered, his ART(singing, dancing, iconic songs, etc.) will be remembered. Btw,I guess it depends on your circle of friends, who you work with, etc. in order to decide whether his ART will last. In the position that I work, his actual ART is as strong as ever. Yep. John Barnes who worked with MJ from '83 to '08 also said there's recordings they worked on that may need a bit more "finishing" and could be released. IIRC he mentioned "Make or Break" and "Buffalo Bill" that were from '83-85 in a interview with the MJCast

Buffalo Bill is pretty close to complete.

Make or Break, which has the makings of something great, is not nearly as finished as Buffalo Bill.

Tomboy (with Roger Troutman) and What You Do To Me are other tracks recorded in 1985 that are close to complete.

Another track, Chicago 1945, recorded in 1984 with Steve Porcaro, is finished and is supposed to sound amazing.

What you're thinking of was offered to MJ first and MJ didn't like it enough so Will ended up using it on his album.

I don't think that's the one. It actually was "Fly girl" and it's a shame, as that snippet sounded cool. The end song is a bit of a let down though. I see on Wikipedia Michael is actually credited as a writer. Wonder if he is credited on the album too or if it is just overzealousness of a fan.

Edit: Ok. I think some wires got crossed here, yes that one song was offered to/worked on with Michael and ended up on Will's album. But apparently there are more songs, where supposedly Will has the recorded instrumentals and Michael has the recorded vocals, which is not the quote I remember and can't seem to find from around 10 years ago, where Will made it sound that he has actual full songs that he will never release, as Michael didn't get to finish them and say that they are ready for release. I remember thinking, how he can deprive us/the world of Michael's last recordings? It's not his decision to make.

Will.I.Am has changed his story so many times it's hard to know what to believe from him.

They definitely worked together on multiple tracks (maybe 4 or 5) and a couple are probably close to complete.
