Who?

That's Donnie Wahlberg on the right. He plays Tom Selleck's son on the TV show Blue Bloods.

I don't know anything about that, I only saw 1 episode. I don't really watch modern TV programs much. If I do, it's because someone else has it on.

I have seen a few episodes of the show Wahlburger's with their other brother who's a chef. The family owns a restaurant chain. Their mother was on the show too. That was when I had cable years ago.

What does being homophobic have to do with being racist?

Directly little

.

Indirectly a lot as Gays like Black people were on the margins for a long time and many heterosexual whites of the past who were considered "Conservative, traditional or family types" generally had less than positive views of them. Anothropologists referred to marginalised groups like Non whites, women, the disability community and rainbow community as the "Other" the opposite of the heteronormative society that is elevated above all others.

.

This culminated from the disco sucks era, where a lot of working class white males felt threatened by and hated disco music as it was the sound of the Black, Gay and Hispanic communities and many stations abandoned rock (Traditionally white and working class) for disco and dance (Associated with the "other") format, a music form to the small brains of the White working class macho clods as a form that should stay in the Black and gay communities.

.

Plus many homophobic people (Not all as there is a huge current of Homophobia in many Black and African communities - particularly amongst born again and evangelical Christian Beulah Baptist church types) are likely to be racists too (The Archie Bunker, Donald Trump types).

.

Also finally, it is associated with these haters being white, but marginalised by being working class, uneducated with below average intelligence and being likely to be religious and/or not succeeding much in life and feel that marginalised groups showing them up affects their inflated self egos.

Thanks for that analysis, it's quite hard for us to figure out sometimes how things work culturally in America, here in India. Kinda....hard to lump "blacks and gays" together - I'm brown myself, the thought of a *guy* touching me....Oh My God! bleeyugh!
What did you say in that sentence "a music form to the small brains...." - that's not reading right?
Who's Archie Bunker?

Not entering into communice with you, your remarks were homophobic and I am proudly gay. You have a revulsion with gays. That may be okay behaviour in India, in the civilised world that is called homophobia.

.

I am gay and love nothing more than a man all up in me and rubbing all over me - even if I didn't I would still respect someone's right to.

.

Finally whoever associated Hammer with these fools, please don't. Yeah he comes across as cheesy now, but in 1990/91 he was the man. There was nothing wrong with his positive raps and the songs were catchy, plus remember he did Soft and Wet and the hooks in Pray are from When Doves Cry.

.

I would rather have rappers now like Hammer than all this viral rap, mumble rap and yet more songs about someone's pussy, how many bitches some one can fuck and songs glamorising drugs, violence, bitches and trap houses mumbled by some half convicted oaf.

What are you even talking about? You know who it was since I'm the only person on this site who uses comic font? lol I said Hammer, NKOTB, & Kid n Play had cartoons. They also had dolls. So did Vanilla Ice. What's wrong with that? I also own records by New Kids, Marky Mark, Hammer, & Kid n Play. I have Debbie Gibson albums too. So I would not call any of them them "fools" or "cheesy". That is not even in my personality to call people negative names like that. I don't believe in entertainment being "cheesy" or "guilty pleasures". I'm not embarrased about anything I like.

*You're* the one who rubs other men, and I'm the one who's uncivilised?? eek Look, I have no problem with you doing whatever you like inside your bedroom, I'm not one of these guys who wants to persecute them or kill them or stupid stuff like that (I found the Hozier video Take Me To Church heartwrenching, for example, in spite of everything), but...come on! Don't "rub" anyone where I can see, and definitely nothing more than that!! It's.....an aberration that exists, some people are just born that way - let's leave it at that, yes? Peace, dude.

Sick of all the homophobia on this site. It's 2021 not fucking 1955 - I can't believe we still have people who hate gays and think its unnatural and an aberration - of course its the churched up types and those with 2 digit IQ's but I guess we have to accommodate all types of wildlife here.

no...not when its the racist opportunistic white "americans" stealing and monetizing the cultures of the descendants of Africans...the same Africans theyve raped, pillaged, enslaved, mocked, targeted, ridiculed, persecuted and abused historically... White culture is European...so called black culture is African...its not the same...and it shouldnt be

I didn't realize Maurice Starr was white. lol He was the one who discovered New Kids On The Block, gave them a record deal and produced most of their records. Dick Scott, their early manager is also black.

#1. Maurice Starr just did the same thing that has been done to many black artists...he played the game and pimped the artist (who in that case happened to be white)

#2. not all "black people" care about preserving or protecting the integrity of our culture... they will do ALOT of things for the pursuit of money...theyre called uncle toms and sellouts, among other things

so what are you saying?
