record covers You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Ironically I was going to start a thread about the best album covers of the 80's. Not the most popular but the best. Which means that MJ is out of contest, because those two are horrible.

MickyDolenz said: Like I said, Thriller is horrible. And Lionel took it to another level of garbage.

Why pick out Thriller? That was a common pose on a lot of albums and magazine photo shoots of that era, and Thriller was not the first to use it. The Bunny Sigler album is from 1974. The only difference is the tiger. People must have like it since it was used so often. poses, hand gestures, stances, and symbolisms on album covers has ALWAYS been a very calculated endeavor... thats why youve seen so many similar album covers... lots of pyramids and checkerboard patterns and "all seeing eye"/eye of Horus and other assorted masonic and luciferian imagery... its WAY deeper than art

What was up with that pose, I see that many of them used it? I guess someone told them it was sexy or something.

There is also one by an artist called Alfonso which was a MJ Thriller rip off. Its on the net, but his suit is black with a white tie and the songs all sound like MJ rip offs circa OFTW. I got plenty good loving for ya baby
