Band Aid by far because it's also a seasonal song although a few years back some WOKE group decided it was a racist song, but that's another discussion how everyone needs to just live and correct their lives today and stop worrying about fixing what u think was wrong in the past because it does not make you better now. But that said it's a better song , I rarely ever listen to we are the world anymore or have straight through probably in years, but Band Aid is a stronger structure of a song and give Midge Ure the credit though Geldof wrote most of the lyrics, Midge was the one that put that music together and organized who sang what.

I remember that and kind of agree with them, but it doesn’t take away from the greatness of the song

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

We Are The World is, like, one redacted lyric away from promoting a toll-free pay number for donations.

Nowadays there's Kickstarter and other crowdfunders where you can contribute to the funding of an album or movie.

I wonder how the Haiti version of We Are The World from 2010 made money since I don't think there was a physical release of it. They must have taken straight donations.

Yeah that was a confusing time to be an artist.
