Stephon Marbury Doesn't Believe Jay-Z's Advocacy: "You Created Crack Babies"
https://www.hotnewhiphop....o59BGcmdb4
"You sold drugs to people where you’re from Jay-Z in Brooklyn in Marcy [Projects], you got them on crack — whatever it is cocaine whatever it is that you were selling to them," Marbury added. "Whatever you say you was ‘cooking up’, that’s what you did. So now, you got your people high, you sold drugs to people that was pregnant, now you created crack babies — these same babies that are going out killing grandparents... I’m confused. But that’s what it is. That’s what happened."

I note that too often people excuse a 'reformed' drug dealer. how many people girls (and boys) were turned out sexually hooked or pulled into the dealing life How many women were sexually forced to get a hit How many families were wrought with pain and trauma How many peoples property were stolen How many children were neglected and traumatized by a parent(s) who was hooked or dealing
People don't consider that stuff when they celebrate the reformed drug dealer celeb

He ain't wrong. Any good he is doing isn't elevating him just bringing him back from the lowness he perpetuated. He ravaged his community with full knowledge of what he was doing. That crack rock created an enormous ripple in the river of addiction and left death, destruction and misery in its wake.

So what should Jay Z be doing? Not saying Stephon is wrong or right but I'm curious.

nothing he can do about the past. its been written.

Jay Z has the immunity & the protection of the celebrity worship, he came up with nothing new and they’ll write him off as a hater. Beside Jay Z makes a lot of money for a lot of big wigs who don’t give a damn about the black community, he’s not going down until he’s no longer looked at as an asset/hot commodity.

Only thing he can do now if he isn't already is to contribute dollars back to the community that he sold drugs in--to rehabilitation services, the schools, and to community development programs, the grassroots ones seving the residential community, not investing in building stadiums and such. That could help to repair some of the damage that he perpetuated as a street-drug entrepreneur.

Jay-Z is worth 1 billion dollars. He needs to give back. I agree with everything you are saying.

This argument is really about fighting over a woman. When, thirty years ago? Some negro mess, why am I not suprised.
That being said....
Drugs have been apart of American society since the 30s and drugs have been synonymous with musicians / music industry forever. Jay-Z was a drug dealer but there were also buyers. I get tired of people (especially American's) pointing their finger at others for bad choices they make. It takes two there's the seller and there's the user. I never understood why people would go down this road of self-destruction but the human condition is a very strange thing.
So, if everyone going to go this far than speak against the people who supported Rap artist that glorified street culture, and violence because these folks helped Jay-z' become billionaire too. We could go on and on with this but Marbury beef is really about fighting over a women twenty/ thirty years ago. We are one step away from going bake to Jim Crown and this is the shit he's hand wringing his hands about. The beef is about bruised egos... typical.

I agree with Stephon Marbury. But remember, Tomi Lahren [who I'm NOT a fan of by any means...] said the same damn thing to Beyonce about her husband Jay-Z and some black folks plus most left-wing progressives wanted to rip Tomi head off. . Truth is truth no matter who said it.

Truth about what? With all due respect did Jay-Z put a gun to these fools head, smoke crack or else? What black folks all folks need to do... is take responsibility for their decisions. When you start blaming others for everything you do... some folks start blaming others for shit they didn't even do. My personal opinion, drug dealers are scum of the earth. For God sake make better choices... the blame game and I'm a victim is bullshit. Drug users and dealers are a fucking pain in the ass for the society at large. Brotha please/ How you doing Tony, long time no hear.
