"Got To Get You Into My Life"

So which version of this Beatles song do you prefer?

The Beatles | Earth Wind & Fire | Blood Sweat & Tears | Leonid & Friends |

I really appreciate Leonid & Friends covering Chicago and Earth Wind & Fire songs. They are all such great musicians. But, I suppose I've always favored EWF's version. But the BST's rougher vocal & production has its charms.

Thoughts?

first exposure often counts for lasting impressions. SO, with me NOT being a Beatles fan, I never knew this was their song originally. I've (still) only heard EWF's version

Easily the EWF version... i liked The Beatles version alot, but the tempo change, the Verdine White bassline, AL McKay guitar playing, the EWF horns, and of course the powerful voice of Maurice White take the song to a whole 'nother level

EWF by a country mile.

One of the major strengths of the Beatles songs is how adaptable many of them are.

The Beatles version is in my DNA-it feels more melodic which

was one of their strengths.

I really think their producer, George Martin, contributed greatly to their sound.
