I actually don't mind body suits for the stage. When you you study dance or performing arts, leotards are standard issue. For the stage, I'm totally down with it because it takes me back to Broadway, classic Vegas, Bob Fosse or even the days of Cabaret. Unlike most entertainers, however, Ms. Mimi doesn't dance. Lola, Liza, Diana, Cher, and now all the other younger, contemporary girls could at least cut a rug in their leotards. Mariah? Meh. Which is why I wish she would stick to extravagant stage gowns.
