You kind of summed it up for me. I've listened to "24k Magic" and this song a few times since they came out. There's so much fucking garbage out there right now, someone somewhere has to pop up and redirect people to when music was good. And we had decades of great music, then somewhere it started to get really overproduced, dry, and boring.

Artists have those 2 or 3 fun songs released, then you listen to the album and it's just piles of shit in between. Hearing the whole album will tell the story on this one, I believe.

I'm sure some people felt and said the same when Prince started his carreer back in the day. But i don't like much this song, that 90's sound is too much.
