His concert two nights ago in DC was the best show I've ever seen. So fucking amazing! "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Houston show was so good I literally lost my voice...had back and foot pain for days afterwards because I danced so much! Best show I've ever been to.

I just came from the show in Royal Oak, MI. D'angelo and The Vanguard were on point! D'angelo's energy was off the charts, and the band was tight as hell! My favorite songs were "Ain't That Easy", "Betray My Heart" "Back To The Future" and "Brown Sugar". I left during the extended jam on "Chicken Grease" because my girlfriend wasn't feeling well. Also, while standing in line I saw a gentleman that looked very familiar to me.I stopped him to get a good look at him and it was none other than Wally Safford! We chatted for a few minutes and he was surprised that I had recognized him.He told me that he had spoken with Greg Brooks earlier in the day and was expecting to meet up with him at the show. But once inside I didn't see either one of them.

Eye guess U never seen live? Because He channeled him all around & through this tour.. All the way down to his threads. But it is a EXCELLENT show otherwise! will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

I've seen Prince in concert many times, including many times up close at Paisley Park. D'Angelo's show was still better. If I had seen Prince at any point between 1980 and 1995, I wouldn't have the same opinion. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

D's current show is very, very nice.............but he can't touch Prince. Hell, Mint Condition in full stride will give D a run 4 his money. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

Touches it and knocks it over, never to get back up. 3EG is lame. Covers of Play That Funky Music are lame. But classic P? Back in, say, 1986 or 1982 or 1995? Nobody can touch that. This is all just my opinion. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Let me add: I don't like making it a competition between Prince and D'Angelo. It's not a competition. Prince influenced D'Angelo because Prince is the best. I wouldn't trust an artist who was not influenced by Prince! And Prince himself had many influences, some of whom also influenced D'Angelo. Moreover, D'Angelo has influenced Prince. It's all related. The more excellent music, the better! Give me both! "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Well! This is what you should have said in the first place.
It would be no D'angelo without or no .Org without ... [Edited 6/29/15 9:47am] will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Lol.........I didn't realize u were talking about the current show. It's comparing apples 2 oranges. I'll take D's current show over a greatest hits/rock show all day long. There is no comparison what so ever if that is what we are talking about. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

Read it all again. B) No D'Angelo without Prince.org? What fucking planet are we on? D'Angelo released Brown Sugar in 1995. Time moves in one direction. (For the record, I'd say it's been since at least 2002 when Prince had a live show that was as good as D's!) "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

LIES! The highest grossing Musicology tour in 2004 was kick ass and on point. Please STOP with your insults! D had 15 YEARS to come back strong. Performing live now is an artist bread & butter. D had one more chance to bring it or go back in seclusion. D obviously studied 's concert tour bootlegs and perfected his live act modeled after his idol. Even going as far as recruiting Jesse and even John B. @ one point. The muziq, The stage show, and the threads are ALL modeled after down to his gestures and dance moves. D incorporated all of that perfectively in his shows.
Plus it doesn't hurt D's vocals are still top notch live if not better. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

How many times do I need to say the dude is my favorite artist? Give me a break. Look, the discussion would go better if you seemed less unhinged. You must see how...let's just say, EDGY...your responses seem oftentimes. I think we can discuss Prince, D'Angelo, whatever without saying "LIES", can't we? But I'm still looking for an explanation of how there would be no D'Angelo without Prince.org. That was a bold claim! Please explain. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"
