D'Angelo and the Vanguard will hit the road this June in support of their acclaimed 2014 LP Black Messiah.

The Second Coming Tour kicks off its 14-date trek June 7th at Oakland, California's Fox Theatre and travels eastward before concluding June 28th at Sayreville, New Jersey's Starland Ballroom.

Tickets for most Second Coming dates go on sale May 1st at 10 a.m. local time.

Considering what some folks are charging, that ain't that bad.

Odd that he has a Norfolk, VA date and not a Richmond, VA date. Either way, I can't go to the Norfolk one nor the DC one.

LOL. the wife has no idea there's such a person as "D'Angelo". I may be the Second Funkiest White Man in America, but Mrs. RodeoSchro is way, way, waaaaaaaaaaaay down the Funky White People list. Think "Dancing like a white girl", LOL.

But who knows? I have plenty of friends here who'd probably go. I just might check it out but if I do, it'll probably be a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing.

Do whatever it takes to buy a ticket. This tour is a MUST SEE. Don´t miss out on this one. I saw him in 2001 and a few months ago....both shows were superb, especially the new tour.
