"Kate decided to add the extra shows to make sure as many people who wish to see a show can do so. This follows massive pre-sale demand today (March 26) from fans who had pre-registered for the News Letter on www.katebush.com; a specific allocation of tickets was reserved for this purpose and these sold-out in 30 minutes. ALL REMAINING TICKETS FOR THE 22 NIGHTS GO ON SALE AT 9.30 AM THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 28."

.

...and will be sold out by 9:31 AM! lol

.

As for crossing the pond, I still say she could take the QM II! wink

Very lucky to have tickets for the 3rd night, 5 rows away from the stage...sharing the same oxygen as Herself! Bizarre and brilliant smile

Then another gig a week later up in the heavens, but a beautiful view of the whole stage and can probably take in the show without freaking out! wink

Oh man, that was a scary 60 minutes. But.... I'm going on September 13th!

This morning's lesson, boys and girls, is that patience and persistence pays off.

I won't be there, but the vibes in that room are going to be heavy.

mad Oh look, despite the noble efforts of the organisers, the touting motherfuckers have gotten in on the act. £1,400 a ticket, you say (on seatwave machinegun)?

I've said it before and I'll say it again - it's 'funny' how so many tickets end up on these 'ticket exchanges' just after they go on sale.

Massive ticket mark-ups are no laughing matter - if more and more tickets go this way, pretty soon the only people who can afford live music are the kinds who can and do wipe their arses with £50 notes. I did have to laugh at the hospitality packages being offered here - £459 (a mark-up of £300)for a prime seat, plus a night in a motel and a 'summer hamper' (including a spatchcock and half a bottle of wine!)

Perhaps I should be in a better mood, as I was one of the lucky ones who got a ticket at a reasonable price. However, I wasn't able to get one for my girl as well, because so many seats were creamed off for super premium prices. She's okay about it, the lovely soul that she is, but I am very disappointed for her.

What would really really be nice is if a new set of deluxe reissues came out in conjunction w/ the shows (with nice vinyl editions).

It's been strange the last couple days, i've been listening to Kate non-stop. Hearing these songs that I've heard so many times before, but imagining how they would sound played live.. it's incredible to think. Of course her voice is different now but her voice has changed throughout her career, so that is nothing new. I can just imagine the big tribal drums of Sat in Your Lap's beginning filling up that venue... just brings chills thinking about it. I never really thought about it before because it was a foregone conclusion that I'd never have the opportunity to see her live, but now it's like... beyond comprehension.

Is it just me or is there a completely different mix of Get Out of My House on Spotify.... Its the strangest thing, or else i'm losing it

I think There Goes a Tenner is definitely a different mix as well
[Edited 3/29/14 22:51pm]

And Pull out the Pin is a different mix and has an extended instrumental ending. Suspended in Gaffa sounds like a different mix too.

Did Spotify accidentally upload a completely remixed version of The Dreaming thats part of a reissue series? Thats the only explanation i can think of. This is really strange
[Edited 3/29/14 23:01pm]

Leave it Open is also dramatically different.
[Edited 3/29/14 23:05pm]

[Edited 3/29/14 23:16pm]

It sounds like all the old albums on Spotify are remastered but also remixed.

I think that is a wildly unrealistic setlist to be honest.

I predict little to no songs from The Kick Inside, Lionheart, Never For Ever and The Dreaming. The setlist will feature Hounds Of Love strongly and showcase a lot of the material from Director's Cut as well as some tracks from Aerial and 50 Words.

I get the impression that the very reason she did Director's Cut was because she intended on performing those songs live.

I don't believe she will do Wuthering Heights, but would love to be proven wrong (providing she can still do it justice).

This is the kind of setlist I'm expecting:

King Of The Mountain

Lily

Hounds Of Love

Flower Of The Mountain

How To Be Invisible

Snowflake

The Man With The Child In His Eyes

Cloudbusting

And So Is Love

Wild Man

The Ninth Wave:

*And Dream of Sheep

*Under Ice

*Waking the Witch

*Jig of Life

*Hello Earth

*The Morning Fog

Encore

This Womans Work

Sunset

Rubberband Girl

Running Up That Hill

My mind conjures up all sorts of permutations for songs she could do, and how she could do them. I also wonder how the crowd will react to her...a seated arena, but will everyone stand up throughout and go wild? I wish I could see opening night, that would be extra special.

The suggestion of beginning with 'Sat In Your Lap' is an interesting one and I can picture that in my minds eye..those tribal drums, a swathe of dancers and Kate in the middle screaming her head off. It gives me goosebumps just imagining how that would make me feel.

Can't wait!!!

confuse I'm confused how any of these tickets are on the resale market?

.

If you bought more than one ticket during the sale, then one of those tickets will have your name on it. I thought you then would have to be present (and using one of the tickets) when that group of tickets was presented?

.

Did I misunderstand how it works?

So it seems one is taking a huge risk buying a resale ticket. What if the person holding the "lead ticket" doesn't show up at the gig? Then you wouldn't be able to get in! That would be devastating under any circumstances...but especially if you travelled from overseas!

.

So what are the tickets like? Are they old-fashioned physical tickets? Or some sort of e-ticket? Can anyone who bought a ticket answer that?
