The Cars Any fans of this band out there?. I've really been digging their stuff lately, such a fun and tacky but at the same time, musically accomplished group. Love Heartbeat City and the Debut album, one of the best bands the 80's IMO. We're here, might as well get into it. | |

Love em. I got really into all their stuff last summer, went through each album. Some great stuff. Even the new release last year was pretty decent. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything. |

I like Shake It Up, Candy-O and Heartbeat City,Why Can't I Have You is a personal fav. Though all there albums have some great tunes on them. They have some beautiful haunting ballads. "fan" is probably too much, but I do own their first five or so albums (everything until they broke big on MTV) and while I might not dig each and every single track, there are some great tunes on every one of those albums and I just now found out that they had a new release last year Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. I still have the first three albums on vinyl - and The Cars and Candy-O were among the first albums that I duped on CD. Just couldn't be without them. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |
