There is no "worst song" on Illmatic. That's why it is a classic.

These days, "Life's A Bitch" gets the least play from me, but there was a time when it was one of my favorites and it's culturally significant for being AZ's debut. If I had to choose one song that had to be removed, it'd probably be "Represent".

I'm saying! My mind changes all the time, but it's always between 2 or 3 songs.


We should do an elimination thread to find out what the consensus is lol

It might get dangerous though. Because if anyone ever voted to eliminate "NY State Of Mind" I would reach through my computer screen into theirs and slap them lol
